Question by C3n3: How long will I bleed when I first start using the Nuva Ring?
I started using the nuva ring on the first day of my period. However, it’s been 11 days and I’m still bleeding. I have not used any pills before. And i’m suffering now. Will I bleed for the whole 3 weeks when the ring is in, then will have my period again when the ring is out? Is the bleeding gonna end soon?

You should call your dr. I use the ring and only bleed on my week off for 4 days. The weeks you have it in are when you are not supposed to be on your period.
You are supposed to put it in on the first of the month and take it out on the 25th. (or you can do three weeks on, one week off) but your period is supposed to be during the time off.

you should probably go back to the doctor asap. i start a new ring the first sunday after my period. my periods are only 3 days long.
That does not sound normal.
I would call your doctor as soon as possible and tell them what is going on.
